FOSS App Stores on OpenHarmony
HarmonyOS NEXT, OpenHarmony user mode, allows FOSS HAP apps, including the ability to install a third party special HAP installer tool, HAP app for sideloading HAP apps, including FOSS OpenHarmony stores, that allows alternative app stores in the future.

Does Huawei allow installing OpenHaymony operating system on their devices? (I'm considering buying the Matepad 11.5S). Huawei has an impressive list of security standard certificates approved by highly respected organizations that emphasize on privacy and security. But, being able to install a fully opensource OS on top of Huawei's hardware would be just about perfect for me. Thank you.
